They got destroyed by the first non Chinese teams they played. l'd honestly forgot about Toronto but given that they only beat Chinese teams I'm gonna double down and say no it doesn't count
I'd still argue that qualifying for all 3 internationals, getting 2nd and 3rd in regional splits, and losing in Grand Finals of kick-off by a total of 3 rounds doesn't qualify 2025 as a dumpster fire. Disappointing placement at internationals, for sure. Dumpster fire? no.
With how weak Americas were last year not qualifying to internationals would have been embarrassing for the roster that they had
It's not like we're talking about C9. Once again they had arguable the best player in the world and a roster full of people with international wins/experience. If you wanna get hung up on the verbiage of me saying dumpster fire be my guest. Sen has the most money of any org. There's no reason their only international success should be running the China gauntlet. Imagine if McLaren or Mercedes placed like 6th in the F1 WCC. Sure 6th place isn't terrible by itself, but when you have the most resources of any org on the circuit it raises an eyebrow.
yeah obviously they got destroyed in internationals but you're making it sound like they're fnatic with years of experience, the mere fact that they made all three internationals is crazy when they had just signed bang and n4rrate to replace two of the best players to ever do it

ngl if they somehow kept zekken, dropped bang and zellsis, got cortezia and maybe brought up reduxx or got zander(personally I thought he would have been better with this team to begin with) then they would have been a superteam
idk the zekken aura is hard to recover from losing
ik reduxx was too young for the first split but not taking a chance on him after he turned 18 still boggles my mind.
well split 1 they beat G2 and then got 5th-6th at toronto, only losing to PRX and FNC, so running it back seeing as it looked like they were improving a lot(little did they know so were NRG), it made sense for both sen to keep their 5 and reduxx to continue in ascension as it would have fucked both teams
maybe they started saving money last year in preparation for the LOL announcement this year?

The fact that a Sen fan is complaining about Sen making every international and being a top 3 team in every stage and calling that a "Dumpster Fire" season really just shows how privileged the Sen fans are. They should be glad that their team even makes internationals, some teams have never even made one much less the last 4.

What does money have to do with what I said? Also Sen does not have "Bezos money" and no where even close to it. Also a bunch of other teams have similar levels if not more funding and still haven't been successful in Valorant, just look at JDG and Vitality.
