The BBL ceo has literally confirmed that pcific is entirely owned by them so don't even try to claim it's different. BBL have so much more resources to freely invest and compete for an ascension slot since the worse case scenario for them is that they still get put their T2 players in T1 AND riot helps with their funding but for these T2 orgs, who can't compete with BBL's resources, they take on significantly more risk as they only get 1 chance to ascend in a year and don't really have a back-up like BBL does. There's no way you don't see how this sets a bad precendent or affects the T2 talent not lucky enough to be on BBL's pay roll.
Look I'm not saying the players don't deserve it, they do. BUT what BBL did shouldn't be allowed
