ello my Canadians freinds, I wanna move to Canada in a few years and I'm looking for a good city to live in. It can't be too expensive though bc I jus started the life game

I'm biased lol
Definitely do your own research before taking anyone's opinion too seriously
yeah but torontos too expensive, and i only know Toronto, vaughn, and where i live
I've got an affordable walk-in closet in Toronto if you just pay me 20,000/month
Mississauga and Brampton are your two best choices imo. Hamilton isn't too bad either, I hear, nor is anything in York region
Idk much about the western side of the country or the Maritimes tbh
Québec is nice but it's kinda hard without knowing French. You could probably get by in Montréal though
All the ones I mentioned (other than Montréal, of course) are relatively small cities with 800K people max
Most of them have a LOT of green space though, especially Mississauga and Brampton
green cities are nice, but not too green iykwim
I wanted to go to Toronto but ig I won't be able to live there until I have some money
I fully recommend Mississauga in that case. It is a bit pricier than some of the other cities I mentioned but it's by far the most developed, and it's right next to Toronto so visiting is very convenient
If that's too pricy then I'd recommend looking at a city like Markham
i've been to toronto and montreal. toronto is no different than most american cities based on my experience there. montreal is pretty different tho, they speak a lot of french but honestly seemed like a solid place to live, lots of good food options.
Prices are similar but the size, weather, vibe, and basically everything else is more similar to Chicago
it depends on what sorta vibe you like. If you want a big city with lots to do then near toronto or vancouver but its hella busy. Actually outside of vancouver, BC (province vancouver is in) is actually pretty nice. Lots of people like calgary as well. Sask and manitoba (both provinces) are sorta dead but alberta is fine, bc and ontario overall is fine.
If you like being by the ocean you can go to the smaller provinces like new brunswick, PEI or nova scotia but those places are pretty quite. Ontario is pretty expensive overall though. Id go either somewhere in BC or probs alberta tbh.
