I'm not going to get philosophical but the actual phrase "do nothing" really means "do nothing meaningful" as in nothing that does anything to directly impact you or other people in the short term. So sitting on a chair or lying down in bed all day doesn't change your physical situation at all in the short term from the action of lying down or sitting down all day. That turns into something if, let's say you get paid for lying down all day, so that directly provides benefit, but still, unless the actual specific action of lying down all day makes you money, you are still doing nothing because you could be using your time doing something else that directly impact you in the short term other than lying down in bed all day. If that makes sense.
