I just watched 17 years go into the trash can this morning. I woke up to my mother kicking in my door. (keep in mind I'm 17 years old). Anyways, they got into a bad argument, not their first one.

Earlier this year, I believe around February, they got in a violent fight, my mother broke hundreds of items, collectables, etc, even shattered one of our kitchen windows. All this and the police told her to clean the house and straighten up.

Well this morning was different. The fight was physical, my father was beat to hell, bruised from head to toe, and thank god for this man, he didn't lay a hand on my mother. We have a camera in our living room, and it caught just about everything. I had to call the police this morning, yes I had to call the police.

When they showed up, one of them took my mother outside, and thats the last I've seen of her, the other officer went inside with my dad, where the officer offered medical help and reviewed the footage of the fight. The result: my mom is in jail until early tomorrow morning, where she is allowed on the property, and my dad is left single with three kids (basically). They are going to court for divorce on November 10th and I will stop going into detail here because at the end of the day, ya'll are here for valorant but man, watching a 17 year marriage get thrown away like this.

Another thing: I'm 17, and I have a 14 and 7 year old sister. SEVEN. And she had to wake up to my mother screaming is anger, beating the hell out of my dad, and all she did was stand in the hallway and scream and cry. This is the most depressed I've ever been.

EDIT: Thank you guys so much for the support, I really needed it.

Sounds like your dad is a victim of domestic abuse. Sad that this is happening to you and wish you and your family better times going forward. Sucks that I have to say this to someone so young, but make sure you look after your siblings and father in the following days.

VLR might seem toxic on the surface, but deep down, most people there are actually kind and supportive when it really matters. Sometimes it’s one of the few places you can just talk and be heard.

That sounds depressing indeed. Sorry to hear that and best of luck with everything. Hopefully things will clear out.

That sounds absolutely heartbreaking, and I’m really sorry you had to go through that. No 17-year-old should ever have to see something like that or make that kind of call. You did the right thing, you protected your dad and your sisters, even when everything was falling apart. That took real courage.

It’s okay to feel hurt, angry, or confused; those feelings are completely normal after something like this. And please remind your little sister that things will calm down; she just needs to know she’s safe and loved, especially from you.

I am really sorry you as a 17 year old as well as younger siblings had to experience that, I have seen my share of fights between my parents since when I was young and some of them have been incredibly brutal ( tho it's never to your kinda extent) so i know how devastating, frustrating it feels like , I hope you well and pray that God give you and your siblings the strength to deal with this and come out powerful. I hope everything will get better for you all in the future.

Make sure your family feels loved, especially now, and don't forget about yourself in all the chaos :(

I am sorry for you going through this rough time. the only suggestion is dont take up any bad habit because of the problems you are dealing with there is always a solution and take care of yourself

You’ve been playing a long, 17-round game — and up until now, it’s been rough but still winnable. But this morning felt like a total team collapse. Your mom went full Raze ult in spawn, teamkilled your dad, and started breaking every piece of utility and cover in sight. You tried to call for backup (the police), and the ops showed up to defuse the situation.

Your dad took massive damage, didn’t even shoot back — pure 0 K/D but max honor. The cops reviewed the killcam (camera footage), confirmed who started it, and your mom got detained — sent to respawn (jail) until the next round (tomorrow). Now your team’s down a player, and the next map (court/divorce) is coming up November 10th.

You’re 17 — basically the IGL now. You’ve got two teammates (14 and 7 years old) who are tilted and scared, and you’re trying to keep them calm while holding site. It’s dark, but you’re still in the game. Your job right now is to play defense, keep your team together, and survive the round until reinforcements arrive (school counselors, relatives, friends — your support).

He's doing a lot better now, unfortunately he's been busy with banks, police, and lawyers all day but he is resting up right now.
