A successful team, no matter how great their skill or aim is in the game, needs these basic to actually thrive as a team and win big trophies.
MIBR lacking it from what I can tell. Hype, Vibes, Mental - very important for a successful team.

NRG 2025 had it all, very successful on their Champs run. S0m was a huge reason for their success, and no one talks about that.
I doubt NRG will do as great in 2026. Come back here next year when I'm right.
if u listen to the voice comms video s0m comes across as the most serious one
yeah but its def not mainyl due to s0m leaving its def bc of the extremenly lucky run with them winning 8/9 OTs and also the insane amount of momentumn that they had.
being able to win 8-9 OTs is a testament to how good they were in champs if anything, it showed their resilience and teamplay to not falter in those situations unlike every other team
yeah but it also shows that they cant win series easily and thats its always a challenge to their last breath and it will be even harder next year with teams probably trying to anti strat them, fnc and other top teams like drx
fnatic 2025 did also, most of their players were constantly standing up even in the abyss comeback down 1-11 chronicle stood up. they were just not good enough on the maps that they lost vs NRG
FNC did really well all throughout 2025. Was a solid team, just unlucky :(
Not when they play against a strong team and Zekken's mental goes down :) #DontForgetSENZekken
nah
verno is a lot like sacy on terms of mental support (he quietly adds to the hype while keeping the team focused)
tex can be the hype man because he used to shittalk and scream a lot
zekken can be a vibes guy because he jokes a lot and keeps everyone having a good time
aspas and mazino are non chalant afaik
I see the vision. But can they all apply it when they're having a bad day and losing terribly in a series? Reversing it around is what I'm worried about with these players.
I hope so. I thought so too with the experienced players in 2024 NRG Marved Crashies Ethan Demon1 Victor but their team chemistry wasnt there nor were the vibes.
But MIBR players are not washed so there's potential.
NRG
mada - noncha/vibes
Ethan - mental
s0m - hype
brawk - noncha
skuba - noncha
FNC
boaster - hype
alfa - vibes
crashies - mental
chronicle - noncha
kaajak - noncha
PRX
jinggg - noncha
patmen - noncha/vibes
davai - mental
something - noncha
forsaken - hype/vibes
G2 (more difficult…)
jonahp - noncha
trent - hype
leaf - vibes
valyn - noncha/mental?
jawgemo - noncha/vibes
it does seem to be a trend on successful teams. I think G2 doesn’t really have someone who clearly falls into the mental category, which might have to do with their tendency to choke. interesting, at least, to think about team cultures this way
Skuba also mental, Mada was also hype, Brawk also vibes as well.
FNC was well balanced.
PRX is PRX.
G2 was just fake vibes and hype + weird and choke.
yeah i feel like g2 was more of the fake vibes and mental, their choking tendencies always showed up just like geng or prx of before
I'd say that most teams need a dynamic duo to perform well. For Sen it was Tekken, T3xture and meteor, Kk and S1mon (vibes and roles wise), Izu and meteor, (prx is the whole team tbh), s0m and Mada, Suy and Shao, Demon1 and Jawg etc...
I agree. Dynamic duo's usually bring out the hypes and vibes as well.
