looks like korea just knows the formula to produce insane players compared to other APAC countries

For now, I'm happy with the current iteration of Pacific ecosystem (except for the SOOP deal ofc)
In stage 2 they didn't even make top 3, so the balance is still there.

But they are really strong, and the talent just kept on coming lol

As I said multipletime there, I strongly beleive in 2030 it will be necessary to split Asia (SEA-SA) and Pacific (KR-JP-OCE), in2030 it's expected that APAC haev twice the playerpool of full AMER.

Making Korea all alone might be a mistake for a lot of reason, they share JP scrimpool thats why it's easier to make then stay together. OCE have a better timezone with KR, and you need small region to have diversity and make things intresting.

  • 4KR
  • 2JP
  • 1OCE
  • 1 TW or MN or E-RU
  • 4 Ascention (That will be KR anyway)
    Is the good balance

If it dont happen in the 2 next rotation, then your region will simply die because the lack of outlet, it will slowly but surely kill the Val hype.
It's either Fly Quest Oceania 2031 or goodby Oceania, Premier number tend to go down.

I just hope I'm not mistaking about Faria understanding how the most important things it Val is to preserve the "earth universal nature of Val" and realise that if no outlet he will loose a technically booming market

prx, rrq, tln. All the teams in PAC capable of countering Koreans are SEA teams. What's the point of building a farm?

PRX, RRQ, TLN would have their own league, SEA + SA, SA will develop at somepoint, and this region could steal somepart of EMEA like Mena to be a little bit more stronger.
I could fuck with :

  • 1 TH
  • 1 ID
  • 1 MYSG
  • 1 VN
  • 1 PH
  • 2 India (We are talking about 2031, India will become way more powerfull in the next 6 years)
  • 1 MENA
  • 4 Ascention

no offense, but 2 jp are too much based on performance no?
+oce and tw are irrelevant

1 jp so meiy can truly shine

Thats not by removing a slot that they are gonna be more relevant. With the start of partnership ERA they loose a direct spot in champ that was probably a huge way to improve, removing a team will just hurt the region, 2 is the good number, in that scenario KR probably end with 8 slot most of time, 8-4 sounds already too mush to be frank

OCE is relevant, it's a scrimpool all alone, no partner team, no outlet, and Riot will loose the region
TW is strong but best player play in China, if no TW; then go MN, Mongolz are relevant and it's a market you could conquere

If that ever happens, KR is just gonna dominate the shit out of East Asia unless they merge China with them as well (which I don't see happening). It's gonna be very unbalanced, and non-KR teams might just stop trying at some point.

KR is just way too good I'm afraid. There's a reason they have a whole region to themselves in LoL Esports. There might be a time in the future where KR gets their own region in Valorant as well, but the SEA teams in Pacific are keeping them in check.

It's not that mush a problem, if JP face good KR team, then they might improve, we cant just drop them, and having 12 Korean team would make no sense, "More teammake the slice thinner, not the cake bigger" as did Faria said. 4 partner + 3 or 4 ascention is a little bit more balance, hoping JP and OCE will improve since they keep2 slots

why OCE? they can't even scrim with SEA, it's much better to just have OCE with the rest of SEA

Thats exactly because they cant scrim with no one they need a T1 team. What is the endgame for an OCE prospect on long term ? They will just scrim in their own region, and lack of scrim against good team, stagnate while every other improve, and player with the potential to be worthy of T1 will stay in T2 because couldnt improve enough in a weak region

of course it would be VCT korea when SEA team literally have only less than 10 viewer in s00p platform

It's hard to hear the whining of the losers.
they don't know how much of a blessing Korea is for them to belong to Pacific.
Without Korea Teams, even PRX would be culled.
But in the end, the Korean team will dominate and there will be more
I think KR + JP should be independent with only JP, whether locally or personally.
JP teams deserve to do better considering their Valorant popularity.
With the help of Korean teams and Korean players, Japanese teams will come up someday

Scream sharing is completely groundless.
Termi said he'd put all his jobs on the line to bring evidence and leave if there was such a fact.
Then Frost ran away. Suspect your intelligence if you believe it without proof.
Gen.g T1 won the Masters and DRX finished third in the Champions this time. ^^
