why do they ever remove ascent? like who asks for these changes none wanna play this garbage pearl these mfs cater to the pro players way too much they dont care about the casuals who make up for the 99% of the playerbase

i agree it is def not the best, but it is one of the easiest maps to play in ranked
Ascent is the most ct sided pos map in the game. Its so obscenely boring to play and watch
ascent is the most casual friendly map i play just to chill with the friends and all of us like ascent and all the randoms i meet in game are always glad when they get ascent and i never found the map to be attack sided or ct sided it always felt pretty balanced to me as a casual diamond player idc about the pro shit who spend 10 hours a day 7 days in the game

so diamond is the new iron? only radiants and pros get to say what the game should be like the rest are forced to adapt ? i uninstalled this ass game the devs can keep this game centered around the 1% of the games playerbase the rest of the 99% is where they make the money from but they dont care about them i got enough single player games in my steam about time i leave this trash game they let the so called pros pick what maps they wanna play and which to ban but they force the casuals comp players to play maps whatever ass map the system decides cs2 premier solved this problem by letting players ban maps and pick maps but riot games is just ass and wants to control everything you do in the game fuck this trash game
if they made ascent less defender sided that helps pro/high elo players and will have no effect on low elo players.
Also, diamond is closer to iron than radiant in terms of skill. They haven't even begun to understand the game
Ascent fans are the casuals. Map has the strategic depth of a wet paper towel.
as a casual player myself i simply dont have enough time to learn all this new maps and the new changes they keep doing for the pros i simply wanna tune into the game on weekends and have a fun time with my friends but these new garbage maps and useless changes have ruined the fun for us all this for less than 1% playerbase the so called pros do they make the money off the pros or the actual playerbase?
the new changes they have made to the long is so ass imo just makes entering site so much more difficult
ascent is so stagnant and fucking boring. Pearl and Abyss are better than Ascent
idk maybe im the problem i guess its just time to get back to counter strike i dont get the trash map pool and how the playerbase just defends all the horrendous decisions the devs keep making and nor do i got the time to keep learning and adapting to these trash changes they keep making to the games for these so called pros who are less than 1 percent of the player base the dudes who just tune in to play on weekends and have fun suffer cause of them idk if revolving the game solely around the pros have ever been a good idea for any game but thats just me not everyone got that kinda time to learn new strats and shit
I mean clearly the changes on Abyss are better for the map anyone with half a mind realises that. At least that actively work to better the game for both the pros as well as the general players.
I hate all maps except Haven so doesn't matter for me.
Most Ascent games were rough stomps and had smurfs for some reason, had like 33 wr playing like 100 ranked games before the B main wall update
