Meteor is my favourite player but he was fully inting for the first game and didnt have a good performance at bangkok until the final at all. Before the final he was legit only their 3rd best player. "Autumn only has a trophy bc meteor carried him" is just not true the true carries were izu and (as much as most people dont want to accept that) it was also buzz.

I mean you can make any argument about how the others did good leading up to the finals (which they did I'll give them credit for that). But Meteor's performance in the finals won them the entire thing. The only reason they even won the entire thing was because of Meteor's split performance, your stats leading up to the finals don't matter if you 1. don't win it all or 2. don't perform good in the finals.

Meteor was not top rated overall, also Stax did not have more impact on Split lmao, Meteor had more kills, more fks/openers, and more clutches, if you want to admit it or not he was the only reason they won that map and even had a chance in the series, plus BuZz going -13 and having basically no openers did not help at all.
All of their players had huge rounds. It was one of the most team effort trophy wins in val. Izu was crazy good though. I remember his awping on Yoru being deadly. Meteor's performance in the finals was a standout though, a well deserved MVP for that match.
Before the grand final I thought Meteor looked lost at times. Meta changes probably didn't help him either. He was FRYING on KJ last year.
