Okay, as the rumors about Keiko leaving Liquid are getting louder and louder, is there any logical explanation for why they’d get rid of him and who could be there to replace him?

Keiko is a free agent so its up to him basically if he wants to leave, liquid probably want to keep him but he'll want to look at offers elsewhere first before he commits to staying. Its early in the off season I wouldn't be saying anything is set yet.
according to the gcd his contract is up this year, so its not reallyy upto them and maybe he thinks he can win trophies easier on heretics
also benjy and th coaching staff are british so theres that cultural element too

Its not a nitpick. It completely changes the situation. Keiko is the desired one here that liquid is running after. He has the leverage and the options.

I think Liquid has arguments and resources to keep him. So the question is around why wouldn't Liquid want to motivate Keiko to stay :D

Did you consider vitality coming and saying: Hey look. We have derke, less, jampi, Sqyonara and pal signed already. Come join us.
Or karmine corp saying: hey we're signing JohnQT and have suygetsu, avez and marteen on the roster still. Come join.
Maybe they offer equal money, maybe more. Liquid has budgetary limits after all. They are not exactly the by far richest org in the league. Maybe they offer even less but he considers the project so much better that he takes the lower offer.
Even uttering the word "dropping" in this situation indicates a complete misunderstanding of the dynamic at play here

TH keiko perhaps. its sooo obvious that bum and minibum are going to get dropped. benjyfishy will stay on for the clout and PR but the other 2 surely get dropped here. maybe minibum can return when he proves that he isnt fraudulent on one of the worse EMEA franchising teams. GX miniboo has a nice ring to it, right?
