because people viewed him as the best player primarily on statistics but actually watching games he had very minimal impact and in fact lost his team games (which was most evident in last years champs) which has only come to peoples awareness in the last year. this champs he definitely has a redemption and he is overall a top 3 player of all time but there are times where he is severely overrated.
