Depends on context, sometimes I use whom in when saying something like "to whom it concerns"
Average FPX flair (1 upvote and I will leak my opinions on the FPX roster changes that will be announced soon)
"who" is the subject, or the one doing the action.
"whom" is the object, or the one "receiving" the action.
If you can substitute He or She, use who.
If you can substitute Him or Her, use whom.
ex: Who is there? (He/She is there)
Kirk was shot by whom? (Kirk was shot by him/her)

grammar is defined by what people use. so if you are correcting people all the time and nobody agrees with you, that means your grammar is wrong
i only do it to my friends/ppl i'm close with
and they always agree with me
