i'm not trying to discredit them, but don't pretend xlg and gx are good teams. And with G2 eliminated by drx, I'm not sure if they could beat fnc full roster
this game is not analyzed like that man.
It's based on comps matchups, veto and individual performance. Which makes it kinda random.
You could see how "underdog" teams like Zeta and XLG could suddenly beat teams, that on paper is multiple times better than them.
Even though we know both of the team they beat is 100% better on paper.
(we mock at sentinel for the laugh and shit. But don't pretend that even a not in-form SEN is not multiple times better than XLG)

G2 fans weren't making excuses yesterday, in fact they were quite obnoxious about it, one user would even leave the site if G2 "somehow" lose.
The GX that played in playoffs isn't the same team who got a "close" game against PRX, they had no confidence, bad individual performances, and were forgetting the way they ususally play the game
are we just ignoring the fact that they played pretty dang good in general against Team Heretics? Sure they messed up Ascent, and got dominated by NRG, but it's not like they completely fucked playoffs up
