Steal all the regional trophies and hype themselves up like crazy only to refuse to innovate ahead of internationals and embarrass the region. Granted, the other Americas teams did even worse at masters, but at least for champs they locked in and fixed a lot of their issues.

MIBR had a month to reset their mental and bootcamped in EU to get high quality scrims and learn from them, NRG also bootcamped in EU before EWC + bonkar is doing gods work. In hindsight bombing out of regionals will lead you to better success at champions, look at DRX MIBR TH
also verno is lowkey responsible for mibrs success up up til now and bonkar said that verno always wanted to learn the IGL role so he trained him. both of them are the goats
they expose their strats too much in regionals. with all the film on them, this isn't that shocking
