It’s funny how his fans think he’s the best player in Valorant and try to compare him to s1mple.
Valorant will definitely miss nitr0, he was one of the best players to look up to in Valorant and has the experience of no other. Not to mention he was also one of the hand full of igls NA could offer in both CS and Valorant. There isn't a lot of igls in NA in either game that are t1 worthy.
he isn't a young star player tho, those type of players leaving will hurt valorant not some seasoned veteran, it would be a much bigger blow if someone like asuna left the scene.
That is not at all how Valorant works, the game isn’t set around a “star young player” it’s a team game. Any time you lose a huge member of the t1 scene it hurts. If you only focus your attention on the “star” players then you don’t understand how teams work. Takes a lot more than just 1 guy.
Nitr0 was the highest paid player in the game at one point, he was definitely someone with a huge following and importance in the scene regardless of him not being a “young star player.” Lol
Tenz>all NA cs players in terms of following no pro NA cs player has 800k on twitter and 2.2m followers on twitch but yeah Nitr0 was big but even shaz has more followers then Nitr0 even dapr has more
Sorry but you really can’t be basing Twitter and twitch followers on determining if someone is important or not. Of course Sentinels will have a lot of followers, especially TenZ. They have the biggest following in Valorant and in NA. They have a fanbase of majority kids especially TenZ. I get they have a big following but a big following doesn’t always mean importance.

Good for NA CS fans but tbh, this is downgrade, NA CS need to sign young/hungry talents instead of recycling washed-up pros. its ridiculous that Nitr0 switched to Valorant because he coudn't find any tier 1 team before but now Liquid sign him back
What igl would NA possibly sign? Just like Valorant, there are a shortage of igls in NA in general. He switched because like you said, could not find a team because there were no teams. His only option would have been to trade with EG.
Of course young people play cs in NA. Just because you don’t play doesn’t mean others do. Just a lot of the younger players don’t have big names or followings like they used to back when Stewie went pro, etc.
He had a chance to be the one of the best controllers at valulrant but he chose mediocrity in CS. Pretty bad choice if you ask me
He already was one of the best. But if he’s not enjoying playing 40 matches a year you can’t blame him when he’s already had an incredibly successful career.

He was good at VAL (that comeback vs ACEND was godly), but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't make a difference since VAL keeps churning out new talent.

Definitely makes a difference for NA CS. If you put ij perspective how in both cs and Valorant. The lack of igls and game knowledge in the NA scene and NA VAL just lost one of the biggest people in the scene with that knowledge and ability to igl. It’s pretty big.
Huge loss for NA Valorant, that guy had to have been in the top 10 NA players
A ridiculous amount of people in this thread clearly have never watched Nitr0 play a single game of valorant. He was clearly one of the best controllers in NA and his game sense was one of the best in the game. You can’t find that in young players because they don’t have the experience. Every now and then you get a young player who has that talent. But losing Nitr0 is no small thing. Of course because valorant is so young it will recover somewhat quickly but for rising controller players Nitr0 was an incredible example that can’t just be replaced.
Nitr0 was good in Valo but before switching he was underperforming hard in CS. And now after almost 2 years they are picking him up again even he probably almost didn't play CS. I hope Liquid know what they are doing because otherwise it could be insanely bad decision for both Liquid and nitr0
