100T management are trolling if Asuna is still their entry duelist next year. If they're gonna keep him around, let him try and learn full time flex and pick up Alym/Timotino.

realistically, if you just made asuna learn yoru ( which isn’t hard unless he’s a narrated word ) then his roles would be perfectly fine. However, he definitely needs to fix his inconsistency.

-kess, he isn't bad but not what they need
- timotino/alym -> duelist role
cryo (duelist) -> sentinel/double duelist (like meteor in geng 2024)
asuna (duelist) -> flex

Only time I'd want Asuna on Duelist is Raze, outside of that I'm good but I'd prop prefer Timotino on it still. I just want him on full time Flash initiator or on maps like Corrode let him play Fade and have Eeiu on Sova. He was cooking in LCQ 2022 on Fade.
maybe, but the whole point was to eliminate the weird double duelist dynamic they have so its just maybe on one or two maps cryo can play iso MAYBE yoru
Lemme play devil's advocate for a second
If you are the new 100T HC who is deciding on the players, would you not want Kess rather than Asuna to be the flex. Kess can play Viper, Senti, Initiator. Are you just prioritizing experience over the limited games that Kess has shown in T1 and T2?
im gonna be honest i have no clue what kess plays outusidde of sova or fade since i heard he was a scan ini which is partiallly why i'd want him out but if hes a better flex then you can keep him over asuna, i just heard asuna being a better flex player then duelist while kess isnt trained to be
yeah they all are talented so hopefuully if they arent able to role switch they just wrap it up and have only onoe duelist player. for cryo idk but asuna was known to being a good flex so if cryo can nail senti then their role issues are fixed

actually can u? i mean it wasnt much but for all the games we did see his calling was pretty good.. up until the end atleast. it was a bit lackluster on defense but still it wasnt the worst and could improve

It's the whole team, but the way you fix that is having your flex play Viper or Omen during those double duelist comps which he can't play either well.
Even if Cryo transitions to a Sentinel player next year, that problem will still persist. Asuna, their flex player, needs to be spamming controller reps to get comfortable.
i mean i agree asuna needs to get out of entry duelist but hes only doing it cause cryo cant entry for shit, when hes on init hes decent

I think you're arguing a point that I'm not contesting against.
All I'm saying is that if Asuna continues on this team as the flex player, he needs to learn Viper or Omen, because I am ASSUMING they'll be picking up a new duelist player seeing as how it's the no-brainer option. Cryo was playing a ton of Sentinel earlier this year in ranked and even played it during the offseason tourney so it's crossed their mind before, I don't think you can just rule out him not making that role-change.
