I haven't watched too much of Tier 2 Val. The only thing I really know is that Envy is America's favorite to clinch an Ascension spot. My question is, are they really that good, like is it just that they outaim their opponents, or are they actually running strats? I'm just curious what to expect if they actually make Tier 1.
(I also know that 2 of their players are not even 18 yet, so I know they wouldn't even be that good. Alongside poaching and everything else that happens to Tier 2 teams.)

They would at least make 1 playoff and maybe champs when cane and nightz turn 18 for stage 2
they're not that different to 2G let's be honest, maybe they've got more balls but i don't think they'll be very good if they ascend
They just need a good duelist to fill for cane and a random smokes player and they will do better than 2g(which is a low bar tbf)
i think with time they would be able to compete and do well in tier 1 but as of now i think they'd be somewhat of a mid team
yes all their players are cracked individually and they do have some good strats but not enough to be at the top imo, i do think they have the most solid chance to win ascension but there are teams i think could upset them aswell so we'll see
t2 NA has great player but not great teams, cubert is good but they fell short, nv lost to m80 back then too, the tendency is visible they seem lacking if they are not shooting
are they favorites? yes they are the apparently best NA ofc they will be favorites, best team at the tournament? nah
Na tier 2 this year is just shit to the point the way envy plays actually works and they will probably get dog walked by any team in ascension who can shoot like they can
the thing about envy is that i dont think they were planning to go that far but tier 2 is in a such bad state that they are still comitting to the bit and its still working so i dont even know anymore
like they are shooters but they are so comically and unseriously out of any possible meta tactics they are either completely reinventing the game itself or getting skulled on the first serious tournament they play (who might as well be just T1)
envys coach used to work with autumn for many years until they rebuilt so i don’t have faith in them even if they do make it to tier 1

they're either the greatest team ever made or T2 is just not only a universe below T1 but just the same shit as T3-4
their comm vids are so goofy, idk if it's like that with most t2 teams but its crazy how unserious it is lol
i havent watched any of their games but judging by their comps - it's pure aim thing.
You wont see it, because the last 11 maps they played they picked iso 4 times and clove 2 times. So, respectfully, don't talk if you don't know anything.
It's not just out aim. Their playstyle is very aggressive, sure and they do rely on good aim. But the executes and set plays are good, Eggster's Yoru is a mix of making the opponent waste alot of util on him and dive plays that draw alot of attention so cane and ion can clean up the site. Inspire's anchors are very strong because you cant counter him in the sense that he has 12 setups for every site and he knows how to play them perfectly so basically you're gambling a round if you decide to hit his site.
They're easily the worst good t2 na team out of them all latam and Brazil probably have better teams this year
