Did they just get worse??? or Did suddenly other EMEA teams get so much better? Like I understand losing but getting obliterated by teams they used to dominate like that is insane !
It feels as if the other teams kept grinding so hard and those two teams were just overconfident and didn't prepare enough, not to mention that even aim wise, they are getting destroyed.

I agree its good cope for Fnatic but they were playing like just didn't care at all and I'd rather they actually somewhat tried
look at their schedule. no rest since last playoffs, i'd be tired too.
One of the only times Ill believe the "saving strats" narrative. Everyone on FNC seemed burned out, Crashies' tweet also seemed like he was a bit "excited" to be resting as well

Barely winning against KC then Losing 2-0 against Giant X is a bad look for them. They were owning last stage and start of this stage, but ever since they lost to Liquid , it feels like something broke and if they can't fix it in time before champs and find their form, they will get farmed in Champs.
We could say the same for NRG barely winning against g2 the Gx game was purely on FNC not trying their best
emea is the most competitive (and best) region, pressure makes diamonds so when teams get pressured to be strong they become strong
in other regions the mid teams will coast and not improve, not practice and let the top teams sit on top
I disagree with EMEA being the most competitive let alone the best region, APAC and Americas are also competitive and they have beaten EMEA internationally multiple times. The last time " The best Region" got an international VCT trophy was 2 years ago. So how is it that the best region can't win a single Masters or Champions in 2 years??
Americas? G2 and SEN show and even out of those SEN hasn't done anything for a while and G2 no trophy and top 4 in Toronto. Americas haven't done much vs EMEA for while if anything they have gotten eliminated by EMEA. On top of that EMEA team has been in the finals of last 3/4 international events. APAC I get, but Americas no way.

EMEA teams got like really damn better in short period and genuinely if I speak it did seem like teams used up starts that they didn't before
Fnatic - likely tired players, studied by other teams, bad map pool rn.
Heretics - very on or off team, looked good in groups but in playoffs have looked weak individually and their map pools seems bit bad because they force Icebox while looking bad on it.
BBL - top 4 EMEA team for most of the year and on good form right now, good individually and good calling/strats.
NAVI - on good form as Ruxic and Hiro are frying rn and Alexiik is performing as well. ANGE1 still good calling.
GiantX - on good form, every player is carrying their weight very equally, if im not wrong they are strong scrim team and its showing
so yeah both Fnatic and Heretics seem to be on weak form with issues with individuals being off and having weaker map pool while the underdog teams are finally looking like proper teams and on good form both team play and individually.
