You're right then, but still don't you think itopata had some impact even if it was little in making lev top 3 at champs because no matter how good your players are you still need strats from the coaches without which winning just isn't possible? And maybe it is possible that itopata created decent strats (not good, just decent enough to get top3) but in 2025 his ability to choose players for the roster was just exposed

I think he did but he also had Juv3nile which could've had some impact cuz Itopata seemingly forgot how to coach after Juv3nile left. Plus, even if it wasn't juv3nile putting in the work and Itopata had all the impact, it doesn't absolve him from making a shit project for 2025 and making shit strats too. He was given the players and staff he asked for and all he achieved in half a year was beating FURIA and no one else. I'm just surprised he seems offended for getting kicked? Totally agree with you on that one, Itopata is probably a kind of coach who just needs an excellent roster beforehand made by somebody else in order to succeed, he can't make it on his own and he clearly doesn't have any morals or self-awareness

He took LEV to 3rd at Champs last year. Their best achievement ever and probably will stay their best achievement forever. And don't say it's not the coach, because we all know how they played with Goked (not qualifying to Madrid, bombed out of Shanghai). He deserved more time with that roster, but wasn't given it.

LEV wanted to keep and give Itopata the same roster so he could have another go at it, because like you said, Top 3 at champs isnt a bad result at all. It's just that Mazino and aspas wanted to leave. If a player wants to leave then there's nothing the org can do, unless they do contract jail which LEV didn't want to do. Instead they let him tryout and sign any player he wanted. HE chose natank and demon1 and we know how that went. The responsibility of a shit 2025 due to misunderstanding roles and what the team needed is ON him. Neither demon1 or natank covered the roles that aspas and mazino covered for LEV.
Look at Desmo, this was his first time coaching a tier 1 team and he actually chose players that fit the roles LEV needed and made a substantially better team in a fraction of the time.
