he's definitely not the best player in the world as of now. he's absolutely one of the best players of all time if not THE best arguably but this year he is nowhere near the best player

to me his stage 2 performance is a bit too low for me to consider him the best in the world but I respect your opinion and definitely see how you could argue it
ofc understandable, i just think of best player in the world like. if i did a valorant draft, who would i take as the number #1 pick to be on my team, he was the only reason LEV was a team last year and early this year he did pretty well for MIBR; id say chron has some legitimate evidence as well
bro that doesn't make sense, aspas has had some good maps and series this year but to say he has been the best overall player this year makes zero sense. I'm not talking about his past few matches im talking about the entire year. He hasn't even been the best duelist in his own region forget the world.
I personally think Chronicle is the greatest player of all time but Aspas is a close #2. Chronicle has more trophies, played more roles and stayed extremely consistent through all of them.
