your team sucks even in the worst region by average
he could totally join a t1 team in KR, tf are JDG paying him?

job security + good salary + it's not a great look for players to jump ship the second their roster stinks
The problem is that there just isn’t enough opportunity on Korean teams; especially for duelists. BuZz, t3xture and Hyunmin are not getting dropped anytime soon. If by some miracle Nongshim stay in franchising, I think Stew would be a great pickup for them.
I personally disagree, especially with the amount of potential he’s showing in his rookie year. But I respect your opinion. The fact is that Hyunmin is signed until the end of 2026, and I don’t think DRX will drop him.
dude has one insane game and all of a sudden he’s better than HYUNMIN, the things HYUNMIN would do to these chinese teams
Stew is probably the 2nd best if not the best op in kr and will be standing side by side with Hyunmin, leading kr in the near future but let me see him with this consistency first before we talk https://www.vlr.gg/523796/hyunmin-fun-fact
"consistent in games that are close 2-0s or 2-1s" doesn't translate to genuine consistency
HYUNMIN is good but he's never been anything super special
Idk what "genuine consistency" means to you but performing well in every match your team has a genuine chance to win sounds like consistency to me.
leaving JDG to join NS is just very dumb, you leave a bad team just to join a bad team, get a worse salary, have the potential to get relegated and more potential to get dropped! (as ascension teams take more risk to drop players)
Honestly we're capping if we think china is the worst region on average
they suck is a very different claim to being the worst region. They do suck but they are no where near the worst region atp
If china has matches that top the m8s and furia gluefest I'll admit they're weaker but I'm not seeing it. Yea the chinese top teams don't look as good as the top teams from other regions but the bad teams are definitely better than their counterparts.
which logically means the average performance is better no? If there's only one team filling the higher ceiling in EMEA and AMER then the average is still gonna suck ass.
let him get his money, eventually he will have to move if jdg keeps on doing shit roster moves
agree. esports career is very shorts and it isn't wrong to think about the future but u still can have good money and have a chance to win a trophies in apac
