i think this team mightve had the biggest fall off after s1mon
i dont think s1mon necessarily carried them - but rather its legit just a mental thing
kangkang hasnt mvpd in forever in matches that matter and he legit lost his motion hes ass now or ppl know how to counter his playstyle
nobody is fragging anymore and their champions run was mickey mouse af ong
its not a mental thing , its just they dont have a player who can support them or put them in positions to be able to get kills , let is be stuns / flashes / scans they lack a player who can set up the star player
also, s1mon was there as a util initiator guy, and with the meta moving back to double smokes and 1 ini, idk if he would be able to flex. I think this new meta has just cooked them astronomically
Haodong calling was suited for the older meta + they had nobody and smoggy setting up kang kang during that era , while also running double duelist which takes pressure off kk , so it was easier for them to perform well. Now rest of china has caught up so its like you cant rely on individuals alone you need a team that can mesh well and work together.
Had me convinced until "Mickey mouse". Contained good correct stuff at the beginning to hook readers in. Too impatient at the end imo
