since this has tier 1 teams and insane prize pool. i dont understand why people dont take this tourny seriously

I also don’t want to support ewc, but it should give people hope about their team in the upcoming stage 2. Maybe jessievash finally retires after ewc
valid point, yeah. CN has been doing the EVO series for a while between the stage and tournament where the teams that didn't make it to the masters as well as some T2 get to play, EMEA also did something similar this year after kick-off. it'd be cool for other regions to adopt something similar as well

edit: it's certainly more feasible for CN to do it than other regions given its higher budget (i assume lol) as well as the worse teams still having a lot of fans, especially compared to other regions
the site just doesnt care tbh, its grouping by region so anything with those teams shows up. not hard to fix but vlr mods would rather argue on off topic
yea i just don't talk on the site, i think i only made my account in 2024..? but i've been watching VCT since LOCK-IN
i became a TE fan at the end of 2023 after EDG got popular in tokyo, looked into CN afterwards and liked them
i've not had much freetime the past few months so i haven't had as much time to watch VCT and can't give you something seriously well thought out
but some random thoughts:
delB was a great pickup so i'm happy with that
surely there was someone better than Abo around..? maybe i'm haunted by 2024 TEC. coconut was free at the start of the year but they were too late to get him unfort, not sure if there's any other better prospects (also play different roles)
not seeing FengF when they walk out feels weird LOL
i haven't seen much of Xlele so idk ab him but the rest of the roster besides him and Abo are solid
at the moment they feel like the team you gotta beat to become a regional contender but aren't really one themselves. it's certainly nice to see CN as a whole get better at the very least
edit: it could be nice to see FengF come back after neon nerf? raze should be in a much better spot

Xlele has some highs but catastrophic lows, we could upgrade.
FengF raze Kai jett will feed generations, they should definitely look better next stage if they go that route
idk if you watched CN in 2024 but bro he played duelist IGL and dropped so many stinkers
i'm not really sure what IGLs will be around tho to replace him
