theyre against the Saudi government hosting this game directly , they wouldve been fine with the event if it was held in saudi by other people but since its the government itself which is using events like this to save face after commimting various human right violations and also putting in a fake crowd in the event to simply make it look like people actually show up to it and fake cheer for their teams. Besides the event itself is horrible since no LAN servers and also horrible sports washing

I mean it make sense when you think that EWC was almost definitely already flying AVRL out anyway to cast mid season clash (The Overwatch event at EWC)
