How did PRX get so good?

At the time basically brought in a "nobody", who wasn't lighting up the T2, but was still good stat wise. Somehow their entire team dynamic changed, first was s1mon and now patmen. I think teams should start trying to make "risky" moves bc unless youre favorites to win an event, might as well try for a quick fix. I'm mainly talking about sen/TH/100T, who have talented rosters, but I think they have hit their peak in what they can accomplish

Sen's roster at least has had success and has shown to be capable this year, and TH roster had the success from last year so I can understand not wanting to change it. But 100T actually have no reason not to change anything, they've been mid throughout their tenure in Valorant and Nadeshot still refuses to change anything.

they played more traditional (meta) comps in toronto and learnt how to play slower rounds which is what they struggled with in 2024 while keeping their fun play style that everyone knows them for. One second you see them play slow, the next second PRX runs a crazy strat with sage wall boost and mows everyone down. Lowkey perfect valorant

They have always been good and whenever they did poorly, their scouting team always manage to bring that 1 new addition to the team to rejuvenate them.
After them getting 13th-15th in Masters Berlin 2021, they sign Jinggg and came in 4th in Masters Reykjavík 2022, 2nd in Masters Copenhagen 2022
After them getting 9th-12th in Champs 2022 and 17th-32nd in Lockin, and sign Something and won Pacific 2023, 2nd in Champs 2023
Had CGRS to sub in for Something in Masters Tokyo 2023 and came in 3rd
Had Monyet replaced Jinggg due to his military and came in 3rd in Masters Madrid 2024
Did poorly in both Masters Shanghai 2024 and Champs 2024 and failing to qualify for Masters Bangkok 2025 with the return of Jinggg, they sign Patmen and won Masters Toronto 2025
Everytime they had a new addition to the team, they always ended up top 4 in their next internationals. So i think they always have a very strong 4 players on the team at any point, and the scouting team always make a very good decision in who they sign to fit the missing puzzle.

Lakia had his wrist injury, S1mon was kicked because of team drama. And the Korean teams have always been competitive, the Korean teams have won 2 regional trophies since PRX won stage 1 last year, and they also lifted 2 Masters trophies before PRX. What does that have to do with PRX themselves? You're just yapping without context at all.

Tejo nerfs meaning they can resort to double controller / double duelist comps like they always did
Had the momentum going into playoffs from the Swiss Stage
First seeds basically had a bad read on the meta
Map pool was amazing for them, like they had 3-4 very good maps, and you know a team is gonna cook when they have THAT many good maps in their pool

haven and ascent were their only bad maps. coming from the upper bracket, they were able to ban both of them leading to prx playing maps they were comfortable on(yes they were good on all 5). also fnc was bad on sunset and pearl which they were forced to play. so it worked out for prx

Well fact is it wasn't like they had gotten utterly trash, they were actually coming close to winning in the matches ( first 3 matches ) of stage 1, they did win maps and it was clear they were just mostly struggling a heck of a lot from role changes ( they tried something on breach initially and he was horrendous ngl like bro forgot he had util) and they were also suffering from serious confidence issues like I saw them get 5v1ed by munchkin on haven, they were 8-0 up against DRX and then proceeded to lose 10-12
