Teams that are EQUALLY WARMED UP and can adapt to teams without second chances are real winners.

Double-elim only makes sense in VCT internationals since group stage teams get a warm-up while 1st seeds dont.

The qualification format is less strenuous and extensive and allows for a lot more fluke runs

Agreed. All the right teams went on runs but they should have had an 8 team double elim playoffs. The group stage is fine though, considering there were 32? Teams
