He did put up insane performances against g2, prx and wolves, all teams that were better than geng. Obviously texture did shit on prx in Swiss.
honestly geng fucked up so bad this tournament which they were supposed to be winning sad to be a geng fan 😭 munchkin gotta fix his mental man he wouldve beat both g2 and wolves
This non tejo meta is amazing for geng’s comps and play style though. I have high expectations coming into champs. I think teams that play similar to geng (g2, fnc, wolves) will be tough matchups but geng can deffo beat them.
geng can easily win champs with this current roster if they get karon or someone to midround to close out the games i dont think they would have these problems at champs
There are definitely those slower paced teams that pose problems if geng are having a bad aim day. We also have to be worried about textured form, he looks incredible but can he be consistent? Can foxy9 step up in big games if he or Karon aren’t feeling it? I’d favor geng against a lot of the top teams still though, especially wolves and prx.

Individually yes. You could argue that Alfajer put up nearly as good performances against better teams tho.

especially after what alfa did in grandfinals if fnc took it to a map 5 he definitely would've broken kk's kill record
yeah true but the only rsn i rated texture higher was cuz alfa started the tournament a lil slow especially on his iso games
I think I value later games more highly than early games just because they're more important. Even if texture never stepped off the gas alfa's peak was higher
tbf PRX and Fnatic played more rounds than EDG and Heretics did (105 rounds, EDG and Heretics played 104 despite being 5 maps) but being in contention for a kill record as ridiculous as KK's is still mad impressive
I think texture is being underrated at this point tho, 5/5 series as top frag has to be acknowledged even tho Alfa's peak was a lot higher

T3xture was 3rd for me, I js think what alpha did at his peak was insane, and what spring did for wolves is also crazy, he solo carried a handfull of maps and to do that on such an underdog team is more impressive to me than t3xtures performance
I do think they were all very close to each other in terms of performance but those 2 were just slightly above for me
He didn’t really. His rating is really high because his team got shit stomped but he barely had a 1 kd. A respectable performance but certainly not a mvp.
Alfajer was by far the best player of Toronto. He also played much more matches than t3xture
lower bracket run for FNC and FNC most of the match were 3 maps i think only G2 match was 2-0 and geng swiss stage was finish fast all 2-0
Forsaken or jingg > Davai if ur looking at the whole tourney. Even in grand finals forsaken top fragged every map prx actually won.
he step up really well in this master cause in stage 1 he was sometimes flashing him self with vyse flash and shit were happening but he steped up big
Yeah I’d prolly agree. I think jingg played really well in like 3-4 of the playoff games until the grand finals tho, pleasantly surprised. He barely even threw so something caught all the flack.
