If you were the GM/HC of Liquid, are you making changes or are you chalking this failure up to lack of time and running it back with the full 5?

Im changing Serial atleast. Theres gotta be better players out there.

Lack of time is the most reasonable, besides from serial being sadly kind of mid.

keiko kamo and nats stay. pati and serial prolly look for upgrades but idk how much Pati helps in IGLing and stuff

I do like pati tho, but yea serial does too many mistakes, there has to be upgrades for him

Trexx is the perfect player for them role wise but yeah that boy needs to be disciplined

Nats will keep trexx in line and ardiis seems stupid on his stream but his teammates always speak good about him

lack of time has been the biggest killer for this team, i think the serial hate is extremely overstated when hes been forced into uncomfortable roles & you often see him put himself in compromising positions to help everyone else on the team, and hes still very new to t1. imo it makes the most sense to stick with this team for stage 2 no matter what, they have good chemistry and they're likely guaranteed top 4 and a place at champs and then whatever happens happens - though keiko & nats are the only players who should be guaranteed a spot next year. my dream player is riens lol but i assume heretics are very unwilling to let any of their players go even if they dont make champs (unlikely)

honestly i think that changes should happen, but liquid went from missing out on every event last year to making both so far (minus ewc). from a results based standpoint they prob keep the roster. if i was the gm tho i would be actively searching from replacements for at least serial. they need someone with more firepower

Liquid looked off in their first match of Stage 1 but after that, they looked like one of the best teams out there, always bringing something new with each week. I think if there was any team that would have been hit worse for lack of prep time, it was Liquid. And they not only had that but also had all the insane stuff with nats' visa issues, running comps with no practice etc. They did well enough in Toronto, considering, though I am sure they won't feel that way for a while after how the PRX game went down.

There might be changes but I don't think TL is likely to do that. Then again, the -Kamyk move also came out of nowhere, so who knows. Maybe if this fake comeback shakes their team synergy?

Though I think it is obvious to everyone that TL is in dire need of an actual flex player. Serial is a good sentinel but other than that, he hasn't shown more convincing performances. TL could cover that with their double senti+Tejo comps but that won't happen now.
