There is no topic, just drop
fax pele is a top 5 great at least but no way he is better than messi or ronaldo all time atleast for me he is number 3
hell nah, pele is the precursor and the best to ever touch a ball, messi is the 2nd and probalby wouldn't be if ronaldo 9 didn't get injured
objectively true, the level of competition is bound to increase over time with more scientific research on nutrition and fitness, and better analytical tools for strategy and tactics.
you cannot stop modern science from improving the quality of competition. what is will generally always be better than what was.
It's really hard to compare players in that context, since you could also argue that players might've done better have they had the resources and knowledge that current players now have, its best to acknowledge that they were great players in different eras of the game rather than pitting them against each other.
this bro knows ball. different contexts, we're talking about a player who played with a ball that could weigh 20% more, etc.
for sure but i'm sticking to the belief that Messi is better than Pele based off the numbers. While I know that statistics weren't recorded as in-depth during Pele's day, Messi has more Ballon d'Ors and seems to have better numbers in every applicable metric of the game, correct me if I'm wrong. The presence of verifiable numbers outweighs the unknown statistics of Pele's performances. Maybe objectively Pele is better if we had a time machine available to analyse his games, but we don't. So I'm just going to stick to the evidence we have.
messi is the best football player of all time, thats a fact. However, he is not the greatest. Greatness is about much more than just being a good player.
Pele is the one that made Brazil the country of football. He is the one that made football become the biggest and most popular sport. He STOPPED WARS because people wanted to see him play. He won three world cups. In the first one he scored a hat trick in the final as a 17 year old, in the last one he was the best player in what is considered the best national team of all time.
Pele was the guy that made football, football.
I know it's not the intention, but telling a Brazilian that an Argentinian is better than a Brazilian is a crazy thing to do
Ronaldo if he didnt have that knee injury in 2014 or 2015 would be the greatest player of all time
BUT MY HOPE WILL NEVER DIE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
OHHHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHHHH

R9 better striker, CR7 better winger in his prime and also more complete player

Brazil is one of the country that can produce top rated players in any kind of sport. But they just either won't or didn't hold their peak form really well
Agreed, they are innovators and when they produce these star players that demolish the competition with flare they can really thrive, however when Europe catches up they really lose their form
the best eurovision song this year is Germany's entry
y'all MUST LISTEN to bittersüß. The album is a fucking banger
We should get rid of Spa-francorchamps in junior racing series or at least make a special layout for them
Since 2019-2023, 2 young boy died in the same track, same conner is quite unacceptable. The line between taking risk and pure danger is necessary
As someone who has many friends in high tier racing, I could not agree more. The track history is beautiful and it will forever be special but what has happened cannot be ignored. RIP Danilo.
Xavi Iniesta Zidane Ronaldinho Gerrard Lampard Scholes Beckham Modric Kroos Kaka Pirlo don't exist or what
Malaysia is starting to dominate sepak takraw even though Thailand had been untouchable until last year because they're the only country with an actual professional league in the sport and other countries won't catch up unless they invest in pro sepak takraw leagues
College sports are more enjoyable and interesting than pro sports are at least in America
living in an sec college town is just different bro like every saturday in the fall everyone is either at the game or watching it almost no exceptions
I violently disagree but ig its subjective, if you enjoy fast paced rush fps ig i could see this being valid
i usually dont (played about 200+ hours of apex and started to hate it at the end) but the finals is something else and hella fun
