he was picked up during the neon meta, with whom he was apparently frying ppl with during tryouts (not only in neon btw) and even outperformed udotan thats why he was put into sentinel instead, but he wasnt able to put it to use in kickoff due to visa issues. he's also young and motivated to prove himself after a weak performance during his time in t1, or else he'll just be known as someone who couldn’t perform at a higher level so he’s still promising

If you look yokam’s streams, he’s just isn’t tier 1 level ready. He sighs when he dies unexpectedly or he rants instead of direct comms in ranked (tilter vibes). For a duelist, there’s just a lot of options atm tbh.

i mean ye he's definitely still inexperienced, thats for sure. iirc, juvenile/elevated's reasoning for picking him up was simply because of his mechanics, an all aim no brain type of gameplay. they said all he needed to learn was the macro side to become this 'perfect player.' but unfortunately, that didn’t go well after visa issues and then the whole juvenile fiasco. juvenile seemed to be the only one really invested in the guy, just the way he kept hyping him up. clearly, elevated was dissatisfied with his performance and didn’t want to deal with it going into champs, so he got kicked out
