Lol. Do eSports fan really think eSports is what determines if the game is played by many people or not? I don't think there is any game that's alive or popular only cause of eSports. It's like saying if premier league dies then people in England will stop playing football or football will die as a game there. This isn't that great of comparison tbh cause I believe football competitive leagues have more impact on their game than eSports.

it directly measures how popular a certain topic is and how relevant it is. It is the most accurate way to determine if a game is dying or not.

the vast majority of the time those 2 are directly linked and causal. A rise in one will lead to a rise in the other.
I'm pretty disatisfied by the way Riot handles a bunch of things in this game and in the scene and I think that the game would attract more players if it was handled in a better way but I don't think it is dying either. I could see that kinda happenning in the next 5 years tho

I have the premier stats, it's stable (Slightly better than last split)

In NA, Val is dying yeah, everytime NA doesnt dominated a domain they start to leave.
In APAC it's booming
In EMEA it's stable
That's why occidentals have the feeling of Val dying, we follow mostly NA content, so if NA is dying we have the feeling Val is dying
SEA is stable, kinda on the downfall, I think RRQ and PRX success helped for the start of this split.
I really believe we need a tier 3 in SEA, full amatory, probably broadcasted, same as in EU North, this would REALLY save the region

It needs something refreshing for the casual playerbase (alternative gamemodes or allowing custom maps), doesn't have to be insanely complex even something as simple as nemesis mode (you pick the agent the enemy team plays) would provide something

but at least for me it kinda is, i dont really enjoy playing the game anymore. ranked is just boring asf
