well, back then the regions were all separated, Brazil had their own league and NA had their own league, so I didnt really follow closely the other regions, I only knew a few teams and players from internationals and thats it

I bet you dont know some very niche old brazilian teams from 2021 too

of course not because i didn't watch brazil. i only watched NA, EU and KR back then. but V1 were culturally significant to the meta of most of 2021 and they attended a masters as well. they aren't "niche" unlike the teams you are referencing. let's try and keep the comparisons fair here.

See? And i didnt watch NA. so being "culturally significant" is something very relative to individual experiences especially in a time when the regions were all divided

For you, V1 was culturally significant
For me, I don't even remember them

For me, teams like Keyd Stars, Sharks, Jaguares, old FURIA, SLICK, GameLanders were all culturally significant
For you, you probably dont remember or dont know them at all and its okay

And just because V1 attended a Masters it doesnt automatically mean that they were memorable for absolutely everyone. I probably didnt even watched their games, as I only cared to watch teams I would root for back then

(I made a quick check here and V1 only played 4 games against 2 EU teams and 2 Asian teams at Masters, so it makes sense I dont remember them)
