what is the context to this if you dont mind me asking? tuned in but i have no clue why him and seangares are arguing rn and why sean is so mad
he started talking about challengers issues originally, problems with the NA challengers current TO. Admins not being responsive, allocated chats for each teams being in Spanish and not english, Admins not really knowing english. Rules about rosters being enforced based on Admins personal decisions.
Then Tim started talking about things like cheating, wintrading, matchfixing in the hundreds of thousands of dollars in NA challengers. I think Sean is mad that Tim leaked the latter stuff, since there is an investigation going on apparently, that Tim didn't know about.
sean is stupid for confirming there's an investigation tho no? i feel like tim just saying the latter doesn't absolutely destroy the investigation like sean is saying lol
yeah, it appears that a lot of this seems to be a open secret, based on the reactions of the players and staff in chat. So not sure how revealing all of this publicly changes anything. Everyone involved in these scandals likely know this info was already out there.

someone in the scene promised to sign a t2 AND a t3 team, paying players 2-5 per month. then ghosted everyone.
Believes that paying anyone in t3 is not sustainable. Only worth paying small salaries in t2.

wow interesting. I mean yea 100% t3 isnt worth it unfortunately. The scrim sharing is believable. I think I heard something about korean league of legends teams doing the same, so i wouldnt be surprised if korean val teams participated like frost implied.
of course the scrim sharing is real. and it's 100% true that A korean team is doing it. Not all korean teams do it - DRX is one of the teams that doesn't scrim share.
It also happens in literally every region in VCT.
I'm pretty sure this drama also happens in China. It's an open secret that CN tier 2 in esports is mostly matchfixing and wintrading.
