Who do you think will benefit the most with the new patch in Toronto?

First of all, tejo nerf is coming in and from the meta change Chinese and American teams (only RRQ from Pacific) will suffer the most but they have more than 1 months to prep so will the change affect their performance? Hard to tell.
In general, American and Pacific teams are the most quick to adapt to and create the new metas, but you never know. I think RRQ and XLG might get outperformed by other teams in their regions because they relied so heavily on breach tejo in most maps but they are not established good team before this meta like G2. I think this meta suits BLG, GENG and PRX more compared to the 1st seeds from Asia.

My early preds for playoffs:
Grand final: TH vs MIBR or SEN
3rd: G2
4th: PRX
5-6th: RRQ, MIBR or SEN
7-8th: FNC, XLG

I think XLG could ve made top 4 if meta stayed the same but historically Chinese teams are slow on picking up the meta so it might take time

PRX and SEN will benefit from the new patch since their fracture is still a question mark and their sunset is rly good

I do actually think that Sen have potential with Fracture rotating out and Sunset coming in.

Also, Sen's roles actually seem like they fit really well around the changes, they can have double duelist with zekken and n4rrate(as long as n4rrate isn't on iso) or maybe even zellsis on phoenix, they can have double Senti with john and Zellsis, double smokes with bang and zellsis/n4rrate or just keep double intitiator and swap the tejo for kay/o or gekko.

I feel like they definitely aren't the favorites, but I do think that they are in a good spot in with these changes along with PRX, MIBR and TH.

It would be insane and he would either bottom frag(normal Zellsis things) or he would fry(like he does against MIBR).

Also, it would be peak entertainment to see Zellsis playing duelist.

I am not really counting Sunset for any team as an advantage because there are so many potential good Sunset teams in this tournament. PRX and TH could be good again just like last year, G2 might learn to play Sunset with Jawgemo Neon, anh chinese team might surprise team with a good sunset, we dont know anything about RRQ's potential Sunset.

I think if SEN wins this tournament, meta has to shift towards double controller and we might see more Zellsis viper, I think SEN play at their best when Zellsis on viper and Narrate is on comfort role.

I agree that Sunset shouldn't count for any team just yet, but usually the teams who were good on it before generally have a better read on it than teams that were not, though that does not stop teams who were good on a map before from being bad or vice versa.

I think you're probably right about seeing zellsis one more Viper, but I do think that he could also probably play Brimstone and Harbor. And N4rrate I could see playing secondary duelist like Jett, Phoenix, Raze, Reyna and even if he's not playing a duelist I could see him playing Clove or chamber. I think he will most likely stay on initiator though.

But I feel like with Sen's map pool and how much comps they can run they have a lot of potential.

I mean N4rrate looks good on it on Haven and while n4rrate did have some mistakes on it on icebox against Kru, I think he's probably fixed those issues by now, also Johnqt has played it and looked decent enough on it.
