Yet out of rookies 10 being picked up mid season 7 players come out of Spain

Yeah KOI replaced the coaching staff with simoz from DNSTY and he brought BaddyG with him. And then they promoted Monster from the academy and signed Natank from Lev.
But yeah there's connections all around
Monster and BaddyG played together in Acend

BaddyG played with natank in VIT
simoz played with Filu last year in DNSTY
I mean as far as KOI goes, they are a Spanish org
So finding Spanish players when possible makes sense, especially when they're season is this far gone already

The players that do fit that category are Monster because he comes from KOI Academy and Ara/Flickless because UCAM is partnered with GX, but the rest are really random. Tag and SimonDark to Apeks is weird af. TL has an insane academy and they come to Spain instead for Serial

None of them are "spanish" I'm talking about the league not the nationality. I could call it by it's actual name but if I say LVP Rising people don't know what I'm talking about xD
And those players were not picked up last year, they were picked up right now for some reason and they were all playing in the Rising

Well we haven't proven it at all at past years in Ascension nor this year at the EMEA Challengers so I understand if people don't think so

The thing about Spain for me is that none of the teams are really bad like the 10 teams are good at least on paper while a league like dach for example has only 4 teams so Spain is probably the most competitive league imo

Turkey is in a different galaxy. Germany is much much better. France is also better.

Spain has never shown anything in T2. Their teams are just bad. The players that were promoted are decent but the deciding factor is either connections or convenience. Only the serial pick has been solely on merit alone.

Bro just because they don't do well compared to other leagues so far doesn't mean the league is not competitive and has lots of good players at least on paper
For example apeks was destroying every team last year that doesn't make polaris a good league just because they have one good team

Picking up a turk mid season is complicated for a lot of reasons I do understand that. But Spain's not the second best league either what about EAST DACH? Nobody looking there?
Dach teams actually strongly believe they can ascend and try to be protective over their players (CGN, Fokus). Also you have the factor of academy transfers (koi) and affiliate swaps (Giants) boosting numbers.
Cyvoph and veqaj already got called up without affiliate or Acad connections. And the other best players in the league are locked in by KCorp. Unless they call them up they have them in contract prison.
The best players in Northeast are either russian with visa issues (razziss) or underage (quickz, chaza, wanzeru, krizz, GSR).
Mena is a different universe nobody watches untill their combined playoffs. Also just weaker on average.
Turkey of course have visa issues like the russians. Now however would be the ideal time to sign some turks. May still be some risk attached to it.
