if you're planning to stay in the job long term, don't do too much
over time you'll learn that most people will do the bare minimum and you'll start doing the same
obv don't do the bare minimum on your first day but don't have to do your best either

since its also your first day make sure you ask questions
its better to know the answer than to leave it hanging because you're scared to ask

don't be stressed. it's your first day, so it's normal to make mistakes.
make sure you're trying your best and building rapport within your workplace - it's easier to work when you're friendly and know your coworkers/superiors well.

when it comes to work, unless you're getting paid the big bucks or are clearly doing something very important/dangerous, there's not much to it and you settle into the rhythm of the everyday fairly quickly.

right now you're nervous, but after a month you'll have adjusted well and be pretty used to whatever the daily workload is. just keep that in mind.

Been working for almost a year now, basic tips.

1.Never be afraid of anything if it doesn't work out. Ask a senior, he will help, it will work out over time
2.Try to be an adequate person, try not to react to stressful situations or criticism not on the fact, do not make trouble to anyone intentionally
3.NEVER ask your boss if there is more work, when you are free, it is better to take a break (this is after you understand your main tasks and perform them in a planned manner)

Might be a bit late but don't put too much pressure on yourself. First impressions are important, both the impression set for your coworkers and the impression your job leaves on you. Unneeded stress will negatively affect both, and it'll detriment you in the long run. Go in there, be yourself, work your hardest, and everything will be great 👍

I dont know your country work culture but dont be nervous, remember that others have a low expectation on you because you are new
Just take your time to learn the operations and dont be afraid to ask for help when you need it
