Where does the EWC rank in importance? like rn I guess it would be like

1. Champs
2. Masters
3. Regionals
   so where would the EWC rank

off season event with huge prize pool

below regionals. It's just money and viewership (? idk i dont think a lotta people gonna watch it)

prize pool and international teams puts it above regionals so 2.4 higher then a offseason event since it is late in season teams are locked in by then

For majority of viewers it's like an off season event. For eSports orgs and pros it's quite important just cause of it's prize pool. Also it's a 16 team tourney so quite big. I would say above regionals and below masters for top teams.

personally below regionals, the format is so shit its 4 days total and 27 games total, thats over 6 games a day, in group stage winning teams have to play back to back matches on the same day, the entire thing is going to be based on which good team gets an easy group and then a good side of the bracket because its single elim once you make playoffs, any team that can avoid showing strats cause they have a shit opponent will own.

Off Season - 1/10

It's essentially an off season with enough steroids to make it slightly better than a regional. It's still a big mickey tournament

it's only for the free oil money tho. I was hoping PRX to get into that EWC train, so they could afford more coaching stuff kekw

well in terms of importance qualifying to champions is still #1 priority so masters > ewc
but I don't think winning it is light work, so personally my global team power rankings for champs might change based on ewc matches
