Agree, this gives a bad rep, she's very talented but shit like this makes her a hard choice for any org
This really just confirms to me that people are incvapable of seeing public figures as actual humans. There is a lot of possible factors that could have contributed to her taking a break, trying to boil it all down to in-game performance is just silly. Even if other players dont get the same courtesy she does, why is the conclusion that we need to treat her worse, and not others better?
Because she has a job to do and just because she's not used to losing doesn't mean she can just let her teammates down and leave mid season. Imagine doing that during actual work. Your boss is not happy about your results and you just leave the job mid work. Spoiled behaviour.
She lost and left. Losing can play a part in that, but is evidently not the entire reason for this happening. Imagine youre struggling mentally and decide to change careers, but all your coworkers would just go "wow this guy left the job because hes so bad". Everyday people, just like pro players, have factors beyond profession impacting their lives.

I agree with his point about Flor getting babied a lot and in his case he wasn't. I would even go out and say that it is much better to move countries and travel when you are young like flor. You are curious about the world, really not found your proper comfort zones and strong beliefs etc.
Edit: Also remember when Tenz wasn't playing well when Kydae was going through Chemo or hell take an example of Demon1, his fiance is also going through some shit. I am all for equal rights and opportunities but let's try to treat everyone equally and nicely and not just baby a particular player because they are a girl.
Yeah exactly somehow people showed no mercy to them , but somehow flor deserves princess treatment, don't get me wrong , I don't mean to say that this behaviour of not showing mercy towards players when they go through hard times and can't perform is good even in the slightest but u gotta understand this is how the world works and people will continue to do such stuff and no matter u can't change it.

He's right tbh, a lot of players go through bad stuff and experiences,a lot of them move countries and get dropped, sheydos won a trophy in gambit and then went to koi and has been losing consistenly for 3 years now, ( Obv he's performance is pretty decently well) but he hasn't given any such shit, a lot of other players also go through such bad phases but they don't give up, they make take breaks and stuff but they never think of giving up, flor in her tweet made it very clear there's a possibility where flor is considering retiring, it's pretty alright to say that the org and players supported her and now she is letting them down by taking this break and a major reason of that is she isn't used to losing, she has just won and won and won in gc ,no obstacle at all and so the first time u see an obstacle makes u tremble and whimper away. Now i can understand this isn't easy at all obviously but everything is hard in the world bro come on, nothing is fair so u gotta do what u gotta do.
I don't think it was okay for her to just leave but I also don't think it was just her leaving because she was losing a lot. I don't know where we are coming to that conclusion. You can never know what is going on with a person in their personal lives. I don't like that they baby her a lot because she is the only one to come out of GC and be somewhat good in tier 1. I think she should be treated like every other player is and you shouldn't be afraid of criticizing her. I just feel like a lot of people just overanalyze her, good and bad. Just let it be. And I am not saying this just for Flor. She has also said that she is going through some issues in her family and if someone is leaving for a personal issue specially family related, just leave it at that and move on.

It's not about losing, and to boil it down to that single thing is braindead. We're not involved in the team conversations or what she's thinking of.
Shit I don't blame her for taking break either. She's been playing nonstop throughout her teens, competing and missing out on the chance to be a regular kid. She also just moved entire continents and left her support system behind to pursue her goals. It probably doesn't help that she gets more backlash, attention, and hatewatchers than the average player.
If I have all of these factors in my life, and every time I lose, nerds on twitter and VLR are going "haha see I told you HE wasn't Tier 1 worthy" or watching my every move and hoping I stumble, I'd leave too. That shit sounds exhausting.
ON TOP OF THAT, VCT organizers and her fans set her up by showing every highlight among losses and forcing her down viewers throats. Everything that has combined for her is not a recipe for success.
The reason of leaving because of ‘not liking’ or ‘not being used’ to losing is created by ardiis. It is definitely not a fact, just his own opinion. So let’s not act like that is the real reason she left! I think there can be a lot of reasons she is leaving, and I don't think it’s fair to judge it, because we don’t understand what she is going through.
