chet chose to spend his own money to buyout demon1 and ethan's eg contracts (nrg wouldnt do it) rather than find other players, and now he's taking it out on demon1 because he feels demon1 didnt work hard enough for how much he spent. dont gamble kids.
Him spending some money out of pocket? Yeah, that's prob why he is resentful. He prob expected a 200% effort from demon1 and chet got mad he didn't get that. But you also gotta think about the stuff demon1 was going through at the time.
