Has the Yoru meta gone too far?

I know Yoru is the best agent in the game but I feel like we have come too far in the Yoru meta to a point where teams are forcing the agent even if not all duelists are really comfortable at it. It does make me wonder if teams have just stopped looking for alternatives or even counters and are copying everything the best team is doing even if they don't have the execution that the best teams have. It's kind of an opposite situation to the double duelist where even though it has shown its efficiency, teams are still skeptical to use it. My point is use it if your duelist is comfortable at it or can atleast work it out, forcing someone to pick an agent which they are clearly not good on seems a bit odd.

As sliggy said I do think that it's like impossible to win a tournament without a yoru rn. Yoru is just too good but I think forcing main duelist who are good at movement duelist to play yoru or iso is crazy. Mibr are actually doing so well with aspas role. Imagine aspas on yoru. Mibr would be out of playoffs.

It isn't the meta that's gone too far, teams just don't know how to adapt to it. Far too many teams are forcing players on the agent when it makes absolutely no sense too. Look at MiBR, not a map of Yoru and they're the 2nd best team in Americas

Nerf Tejo and you Nerf Yoru. Yoru is a Tejo counter and a huge part of Tejo+Breach combo. Simple.

the only problem with forcing it occurs when the players don't know how yoru works or understand the character, which unfortunately happens far more than it should. if you're a professional duelist player signed to a franchised league, you should be putting the time in to learn the ins and outs of the agents. someone looking bad on a character shouldn't really happen, especially if they're extremely meta and ran on multiple maps. it's lowk embarassing from the players who've been "forced" on and look like they've never played him before
