they can get 1 win and place 4th in their group instead of 5th, this can lead to a better re-seeding on their group for stage 2 since 1 place swap is all you need

they're all useful, they're basically saying (e)sports are for enjoyment, competition, and proving your abilities, and not all-or-nothing for the first place champs spot

np and i meant that LOUD can place 5th in their group if they win, not 4th. they cant qualify playoffs but still have a chance for re-seeding if they win

the win matters for EG though. and even if it didnt matter for either of them, not playing a game isnt really an option unless you think forfeiting a game is a good idea. new team with tuyz returning too so could be good prac for stage 2.
