s0m: Overhyped by fans and influencer friends. Blaming FNS is unfair—he achieved nothing without him on pre-Optic NRG. Looks good on scoreboard but is just an average smokes player.

s0m is, honest to god, a generational talent but FNS is really holding him back
disagree, at the highest level there are others who are at the same or better level and probably put way more hours and dont care about streaming. you are just his fan/viewer
I've never liked s0m as a personality, but he is a great player in terms of both mechanics and comms. He's been playing pro between val and cs for better part of a decade.
FNS I agree is incredibly overrated, but s0m is definitely capable of being on a VCT roster.
I like to look at results, potential-wise maybe even Xeppaa has it but without actual results its hard to justify someone deserving a spot if a roster's aim is to win a major. s0m has always played with good teammates yet the results aren't great - he had a good team before Optic took over NRG but failed to impress(result wise)
switch fns to initiator and have verno on senti wouldve worked 10x better (like what they did in the off season and against 100t). i dont understand why fns is so committed to the cypher when his breach was so good

its because of ethan, he only plays agents with blind/flash
they did play double initiator in the off season which worked fine. idk why they strayed away from that
yeah it is cooked, sentinel has to be one of the strongest mechanical player... verno on vyse worked so well.. I dont think FNS can hold a site and IGL on his own
his aim may not be fantastic but hes always found in shitty situations when playin senti. him playing a more aggressive agent would literally solve every issue on nrg. i get that maybe sacrificing brawk or ethan isnt ideal but i bet it would work way better in the long run.

pretty sure he was making more money streaming... had 50k+ viewers especially during PRX matches...
