i didnt see people shitting on loud when they lost in lock in, but they are shitting on edg now, what are these double standards

3rd was never bad in an international, its just that edg had soo many and t1 had soo less expectations coming into the tournament and the fact that edg got cooked by t1 just makes the situation more worse than it actually is
T1 improved tho no? Also edg didn't look like their best this event so I think it was expected they would lose at one point. At least I thought max they would reach is top 3.
yes they did but normies do not "think" like that, the only thing they see is EDG came in as World Champs and T1 came in as failed and overhyped superteam.

3rd isn't bad but dominated in map 1 & 4, lose your best map, and barely win map 3 is quite bad
I get that but it's still 3rd place and being the winning team from champs the year before is going to make it harder to win considering you basically have to innovate something completely different than the year before
