We need this soon
Yeah it actually pisses me off that LA gets everything and east coast is always neglected.
i mean it's probably harder to get a venue in NY and LA has more people and more space i feel like(idk when i think of ny i think of it as compact and just a ton of buildings and stuff but LA is mroe spread out if that makes sense)
there were already so many cs events being held there prev. tf were u doing back then?
or Miami. Miami would give latam and maybe even brazilian teams a lot of love if they qual
Yeah it's never ever happening lmao. Most people care about their health you know?
Well Riot gonna give the organisation rights to skyesports and we gonna get embarrassed globally.
Bro Indian esports audience would get it. Indian esports viewerbase is (sadly) dominated by BGMI (Indian version of PUBG mobile). There were two official tournaments in 2024 by Krafton (Riot of BGMI) and the latter one’s organisation rights were given to the above mentioned org. And what a tragedy + shithousery it was. Matches getting rehosted often, stream quality shit, audio shit, whole arena setup was depressing. You can search BMPS 2024. And the prizepool was quite significant (Rs. 3 crore). India has huge revenue opportunity in terms of viewership numbers, sadly noone invests as we don’t value standards plus government too brings in a much of regulations.
Holy yap
honestly champs india would be great for sen they can just say they got sick when they get upset by a shit team
not possible, forget about horrible AQI, event management is ass, if India wants to host big tourney, they need to start from small ones. maybe host other games, with that org can have reputation of hosting good tourney. then maybe in future 5 years down the line Champs India is possible.
i say host it in Texas or toronto, lot of Indians lmao. jks aside India as fan base is really good. but sadly as host is not. not much infrastructure for Online gaming in there from what i know.
India don’t want to host any tournament bro
Esports not even considered a worthy and respectful profession here
Most parents here just force their children to be doctor or engineer, no respect to esports
Bro trust me in India it’s different and I say this with experience, other Asian countries might do the same but here the pressure for studies is too high the competition for each professional examination increases each year and it’s very difficult to convince ur parents if u want to pursue something which is not related to education
in every country it's like that... unless your parents are daily minimum wage worker then they dont have time otherwise everyone wants there kids to study
Yeah but children have the opportunity and support from their parentsto pursue something not related to studies
Don't need it , no infrastructure good enough here to keep a full fledged international event, u will need a good arena for the finals ,and a good stadium for the normal matches both which isn't available in India( cricket stadiums can't hold this shit okay) , plus u will need a hotel in the nearby area for the players and casters to live in , a hotel good enough as well as big enough to accommodate the bare minimum of 8 teams that is about 48 players + coaches and then u will also need 8 big rooms good enough for the teams to practice and scrim in, u will also need like 56 minimum pcs for the teams to scrim, while more 14 high tech ones in official matches ( by pc I mean both the pc and the monitor) , so nope don't need it
infrastructure? you live in village or what?
High tech pcs? have u seen college computing labs ever? they have better shit than what riot provides.
