This. It's technically not an anime but it's similar to some GOAT anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Hitman reborn, Gintama where it starts off as a funny comedy gig but then once it gets serious, the story just goes very deep

Also I recommend the Fate/series
the main watch order (imo) is Unlimited Blade Works -> Zero -> Heavens Feel
Fate/strange fake is also gonna be airing this year so now is a good time to watch it!!

Interesting, I haven’t watched heavens feel but I would personally skip unlimited blade works and just watch zero. I think the visual novel is a much better way to experience unlimited blade works.
