Its a good move. Pr perspective lets be honest apex isn't going to hold their slot by qualifying for champs. So if they make some new eyes watch the org then its a win win right?

Eh... Turkish duelists have been locked down already. Izzy signed to Eternal fire, Xeus Fut, Lewn BBL... They dont have an endless supply either. Cned seems to have a big buyout too...
I can see why you would consider flor since the top t2 duelists have mostly been raided. The only remaining options are jist "fine". Might as well do a huge marketing move getting huge attention with flor.
Signing makes alot of sense. They wouldve ended up the most boring team in the league without some form of crazy roster moves, and this will make them hugely popular
tbf, for me at least, the criticism often comes from the GC imbalance, lack of clarity from the rules, etc.
If she is going for the VCT bubble I don't think anybody would be mad. even the opposite I think.
It’s also worth noting that GC players don’t take up an import slot (I believe). Could be that they’re trying to import another player to replace soulcas.

I currently have a Game Changers Alum Residency Exception, so I will not count as an import if signed to a VCT team.
Seems like you get an exception for the first team you join, if I’m reading that correctly. Also, don’t know if they’re actually looking for another import, just saying it’s a possibility.
