Ive been playing dms with music lately and realized this shit is borderline impossible unless you slice the pie on every corner because everybody just holds off angles based on audio
How exactly do yall play dms and what goal do yall have in mind?
Im not trying to win dm, im trying to extract the most practice out of it
DM is tiring in general, expect someone anywhere on the map and be quick to adjust, DM is just flicking and adjusting to unexpected targets that pop up to your screen
Dont understand how to play the map, when im holding mid i just get peeker advantage peeked and die and if i peek i peek into 5 people and die
fundamentally dogshit. theres only 3 ways to play drift
TDM is lowkey pissing me of aswell because enemies just pick dumbass characters like 5 flashes and then flash u into oblivion
And then play annoying weapons like stinger and operator
Just gotta be really streaky and not die and get lucky with spawns. sometimes i've gone half the DM without seeing anyone cause they all spawn and congregrate on the other side and then when i finally find someone it's tenz
Ye thats prolly the best ngl but still its kinda just gambling on one choke when on bind b site you have 4 things to look at (hookah, octagon, elbow and ct)
I wish there was some sort of mode that would just spam iso ults without shield that would lowkey be fantastic

but if u wanna win just have good crosshair placement and aim
if u cant do that just hold angles and prefire people when theyre stomping around i guess
Ik, i dont care much about winning dm but it doesnt feel like im improving either since the time you look for enemies is larger than actual fights, and then u get shot from the back etc. I wonder how pro players play dm and just win every one of those like do they never get shot in the back?
they do but they dont just run around like a maniac all game lol
because theyre so good they just instantly kill whoevers in front of them and have enough time to turn around and kill another
u should also have an idea of where every spawn is and when will they spawn instinctively
I play TDM or even CS dm if I really want the 'dm' experience
the maps in val are really badly suited for DM
winning a dm without being a pussy is 70% hitting shots and 30% getting lucky, it's really not that deep.
You could do what Asuna does and shoot every time you peek an angle, regardless of whether or not you think an enemy exists in that general vicinity (I've gotten some stupidly free kills that way)
Me personally, though, I usually go guardian only in DMs and try to just tap as many people as possible before it ends (idc about winning, I just want no sloppy fights if I can avoid them). I have been going Vandal/Phantom + Shorty more recently, though, but that's mainly because I feel like I should be buying Shorty on more rounds than I am but I never find value with it because I don't have the intuition on when to pull it out and when to not
Stop and hold an angle. Use the sound too. If you do that, Tenz will say you have better mechanicals than Aspas.
