Make sure you get a proper grip on the ball and hold on for dear life. Make sure you keep your eye on the ball and don't lose sight of it as it is in the air to give you the best chance at making a catch and being able to get a touchdown.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. So why not take the shot? If you miss, then simply learn from it.

It's kinda hard to take the shit when there's 4 people trying to defend me and my shit team doesn't know what to do.
Just do what I do and splash 3 in a row from half court (not even a lie I did this in a transition course during the summer between grade 8 and my first year of high school. I have multiple witnesses to this event taking place.)
That's not gonna happen when there's 2 people + the portero is blocking me from taking an actual good shot. Not to mention the 3-4 people trying to run at me and defend me.

Just talk to her, dont say any wack shit. You can pretty easily tell if shes into you or not if she initates conversations/topics and laughs at your jokes.If your ready to ask her out or smth just do it casually and if she says no just play it off. Also idk if this would work for you but I showed tons of girls my dorm where I have posters of Rb all over the walls and they all fell for me immedatley (due to Rb aura)
