it's probably because asuna has high peaks and low lows and pretty much no between. (honestly, I'm not too surprised since flex players tend to have this problem) This means he does have average performances overall, which is good for a flex player, but vlr is too focused on now to look at the bigger picture.

His rating on raze is atrocious, it’s like .8 or something of the sort. He doesn’t top drag other raze maps he’s just shit.
his raze rating has been pulled down by his lotus maps, he's played like 4 lotus maps recently. if you look at his other maps he performs much better

Asuna is good but there is no way his fans rely on him, he seems so shaken after every round and his body shivers as well.

He's a long way from there, at least as duelist.
His Initiator util usage is decent though but only compensates his shaky aim and nervous playstyle.
Asuna's problem is 2 things imo, 1- nervous when the match is close.. 2- he's lost and needs 1 to tell him what to do..

he needs hard proper coaching imo, he is not disciplined enough to play on T1 and his aim shaking/jumping problem needs to stop one way or another.
