It scales through the year, this is how it's always been. It's to build more hype for the later tournaments and generally the more competitive tournaments are later on, so it'd be harder to win, so it makes sense to give more money
more teams, longer prep, better strats thus higher stakes thus higher prize pool
Why would there be an issue with a larger prize pool for a tournament with more teams?
